Geotab has added Nauto's artificial intelligence-powered fleet safety video system to the Geotab Marketplace, where customers can now access Nauto's driver distraction detection abilities and other features.
Nauto is a data platform for safer roads, powered by artificial intelligence and an aftermarket dual-camera device, which can equip any vehicle with sophisticated safety features, such as the industry's first distracted driving detection function.
The resulting insights give Nauto-enabled fleets the ability to improve safety and operations, as well as save lives and reduce liability and expenses. Because Nauto learns from other drivers, the road and conditions around vehicles in the Nauto network, fleets equipped with Nauto can automatically capture and upload video of significant events and insights in real time to help fleet managers improve overall driver performance and enhance the safety and efficiency of an entire fleet.
Nauto's scoring system, called VERA (Vision Enhanced Risk Assessment) includes a risk rating for the frequency and severity of distraction events. In addition, Nauto's visual data offers protection against wrongful liability, records collisions and near-misses and can reduce insurance costs.
The Geotab Marketplace offers mobile apps, MyGeotab Add-Ins, hardware accessories and Add-Ons, and custom reports. Businesses can find an ecosystem of solutions that integrate with the Geotab telematics platform. The Marketplace features technology such as in-vehicle cameras, real-time temperature tracking and tire pressure monitoring, as well as innovative apps for dispatching and compliance, third-party integrations, and business services.
