WASHINGTON - Chrysler is recalling more than 154,300 model-year 2010 Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Grand Caravan and Dodge Journey AWD vehicles because of a potential stalling problem.

Some vehicles may experience inadvertent ignition key displacement from the run to accessory position while the vehicle is being driven, causing the engine to shut off, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported. This poses a safety risk.

The recall covers vehicles manufactured from Aug. 3, 2009 through June 17, 2010.

Dealers will make the necessary repairs free of charge. The safety recall will get under way in April. Vehicle owners can reach Chrysler at (800) 853-1403.
