April Fleet Sales Remain Steady
Sales of vehicles from nine manufacturers to commercial fleets increased 1.4% to 69,433 units in April compared to the same period in 2015 as a boost in truck sales made up for flagging car sales.

Sales of vehicles from nine manufacturers to commercial fleets increased 1.4% to 69,433 units in April compared to the same period in 2015 as a boost in truck sales made up for flagging car sales.
Sales of trucks, vans, and SUVs increased 7.7% to 60,187 vehicles, while sales of cars fell 26.9% to 9,246 units.
Fleet sales have increased 12.3% to 249,019 vehicles so far in 2016 with trucks outpacing cars. Sales in the truck category increased 19.3% to 210,022 units, while sales in the car category fell 0.5% to 38,997 vehicles.
