Mercedes-Benz USA has appointed Adam Chamberlain as vice president of sales. He will assume this position April 1.
Chamberlain replaces Dietmar Exler who is now president and chief executive of Mercedes-Benz USA.
In this new role, he will have overall responsibility for the company's sales, volume planning, and distribution operations in the U.S., reporting directly to Exler.
Previously, he was sales director of passenger cars for Mercedes-Benz UK. He joined the the brand in 2013.
Chamberlain began his career with Volkswagen AG in 2009, he worked their for 15 years. In 2009, Chamberlain was promoted to head of sales and marketing for Volkwagen Ireland and three years later became managing director for SEAT Ireland.
