Jaguar Land Rover showed the I-Pace concept battery-electric vehicle ahead of the Los Angeles Auto Show that it plans to sell in North America in early 2018 as a Tesla fighter, the automaker announced ahead of the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The I-Pace uses a 90-kWh lithium ion battery pack that helps the vehicle achieve more than 300 miles of range using the European NEDC testing cycle. The vehicle can achieve an 80% charge in 90 minutes using DC fast charging. The I-Pace uses two electric motors in the front and rear of the vehicle.

Jaguar isn't skimping on performance. The vehicle should reach 0-60 mph in 4 seconds. The sleek I-Pace has a 0.29 Cd drag coefficient and rides on 23-inch wheels.
