Nearly 2 million (1,951,243) Toyota and Lexus hybrid vehicles have been sold in the United States — making up close to 40 percent of the total 5 million hybrid vehicles sold globally under the Toyota umbrella.

LOS ANGELES – Overall hybrid sales have dropped significantly as a result of the nationwide decline in gasoline prices, with used-hybrid values falling over 25 percent since last summer.
