The Motor Press Guild, an association of automotive journalists based in southern California, hosted its annual Track Days event at Willow Springs International Raceway on Oct. 4. Journalists drove vehicles from manufacturers on a 2.5-mile road course with nine turns, a 21-mile street course outside the raceway, and two rocky trails. Ford hosted its 2018 model-year fleet preview at the San Diego Civic Theater in May. The company discussed its commercial strategy and addressed topics such as electric vehicles and autonomy. The event drew more than 1,000 attendees, and also featured a ride-and-drive event and multiple networking events.
