Nissan Replaces Juke with Kicks

Nissan discontinued its quirky Juke entry-level crossover after the 2017 model year, and is replacing the vehicle with its 2018 Kicks. Nissan dealers are continuing to sell remaining Juke models, the company has confirmed on its website.

Nissan's 2018 Kicks

The 2018 Nissan Kicks is the automaker's second subcompact SUV in the past year that will slot into its SUV lineup as its entry model just below the Rogue Sport. It offers a FWD-only and somewhat smaller footprint, and replaces the Juke as Nissan's most affordable utility.

The Nissan is currently available in front-wheel drive with three variants. It’s powered by a 1.6-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder with continuous variable valve timing, and boasts 125 horsepower and 115 lb-ft of torque.

2018 Nissan Kicks Starts at $18,965

Nissan's newest small SUV, the 2018 Kicks, will retail for at least $18,965, when it goes in sale later this spring, Nissan has announced. The price includes a $975 delivery fee.

SUVs and Crossovers Drive Nissan's Global Sales

Nissan’s global crossover and SUV sales increased more than 12% in 2017, representing an increase of 230,000 vehicles, according to the company. Full-year 2017 global sales reached more than 2 million vehicles.
