Global Congestion Costing Commercial Drivers

The cost of traffic congestion increased in 2016 to an average of $1,400 for U.S. drivers, as congestion worsened in Los Angeles, which has become the most congested city in the world, according to the Inrix Traffic Scorecard.

INRIX has released its latest Gridlock Index, which shows traffic congestion in the U.S. According to the company’s latest report, traffic increased by 10% during February, 2013, which is the largest year-over-year increase recorded by INRIX in its Gridlock Index in two years.
