The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) released its Short Term Energy Outlook (STEO) for this month.
Gas prices have remained steady lately, with an average price for regular unleaded gasoline at $3.54 per gallon, according to AAA’s latest Fuel Gauge Report.
AAA released its monthly fuel price outlook, which noted that the national average price of gasoline rose 14 cents in July, from $3.49 to $3.63 per gallon. This was the largest monthly increase since February.
AAA said higher summertime demand for gasoline, along with more expensive crude oil prices, and possible supply disruptions caused by hurricanes in the Gulf Coast region, are likely to keep pushing prices upward.
AAA released its latest Fuel Gauge Report, which said the national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $3.67, as of July 22. This price is 6 cents higher than on July 15 and 20 cents higher than on July 22 last year.

In a new report, AAA said that the average nationwide price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline has fallen to a five-month low of $3.48. This is the lowest price since Feb. 1.

AAA’s latest Fuel Gauge Report shows little movement since last week in the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline, nearly unchanged at $3.62 on June 3. This price is still 10 cents more than it was a month ago, and three cents higher than it was on June 3 last year.
