The production-ready Chevrolet Bolt EV is scheduled to make its debut at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which will occur in Las Vegas from Jan. 6-9, along with other concept vehicles from various automotive manufacturers.
The company has selected North Las Vegas because the area offers expansive development space, an encouraging tax environment, close proximity to their California headquarters, and nearby access to Las Vegas for plant tours.
New electric vehicle startup Faraday Future hopes to rival Tesla in the battle for best luxury EV by investing $1 billion in a U.S. manufacturing facility.
