Chevrolet's 2017 Cruze Diesel sedan provides 52 miles per gallon in highway driving when equipped with a manual transmission, making it the most fuel efficient non-electrified vehicle sold in the U.S., the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has determined.
Pricing for the China Chevrolet Cruze Hatch was announced on Feb. 7. Five trims with a choice of 1.4T or 1.5L engines are available for a price range between RMB 109,900 and RMB 169,900.
The recall covers more than 17,000 cars in the 2016 and 2017 model years.
The recall affects nearly 33,000 compact cars in the 2016 model year.
The recall also includes other Chevrolet and Buick models, such as Chevrolet Equinox SUVs, which were repaired using defective replacement electronic park lock levers.
