Buick will begin offering Avenir-branded versions of its vehicles that will provide the highest level of luxury within the nameplate. The GM unit rolled out the sub-brand with the 2018 Enclave Avenir.

The new system features a compact lithium-ion battery pack for torque-assisted launch, regenerative braking, and a smoother stop and start. When paired with a four-cylinder engine, the eAssist system increases city fuel economy by 19% compared to the LaCrosse’s V-6.
