The sunroofs in 536 2007-2009-MY luxury sedans are at risk for detaching, and a safety recall is expected to begin this month.
Audi has made several enhancements to its A8 L Security sedan to make the vehicle lighter while certifying it to the more stringent European standards for ballistic protection.
The refreshed 2015 Audi A8 full-size luxury sedan will retail for at least $78,325 when it reaches dealerships this month, the automaker has announced. The new model gets a mid-cycle refresh that includes new LED headlights, a restyled grille, bumper and splitter.
The automaker said the headlights activate, deactivate, or dim individually according to light levels, without the driver needing to manually control them.
Audi detailed the changes to its 2014 model-year vehicles, including the A6, A7, A8 and Q5. For 2014, one major change is that Audi offers TDI clean diesel variants for each of those models.
Audi said the A8 L TDI will go on sale in early spring 2013.
