AUBURN HILLS, MI – Chrysler Group is recalling model-year 2002 – 2003 Jeep Liberty and 2002 – 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles to replace a component that could lead to inadvertent airbag or pretensioner system deployment.
WASHINGTON – American Honda Motor Co. is recalling 268,655 2002-2006 model-year Honda CR-V vehicles because their driver-side power window switch may fail or melt, thus posing an overheating or fire risk, according to the NHTSA.
WASHINGTON – Ford Motor Co. is recalling 244,530 2001-2002 model-year Ford Escape vehicles because their brake master cylinder reservoir caps may leak brake fluid. In a separate action, Ford is also recalling 205,896 2004-2005 model-year Ford Freestar and 2004-2005 model-year Mercury Monterey vehicles because their torque converter output shafts may fail.
TORRANCE, CA -- Honda has expanded a previous recall of certain 2001-2003 model-year Honda and Acura vehicles, so that dealers can replace the driver's airbag inflator originally installed in approximately 273,000 additional vehicles sold in the U.S.
