Frank Grochal retired from Automotive Resources International and Holman Enterprises in 2005, culminating a successful career that spanned five decades. He was inducted in the NAAA Hall of Fame in 1983. He was the first person in fleet to achieve this honor.

The three awards are the Global Fleet Icon Award, the Global Fleet Visionary Award, and the creation of the Global Fleet Hall of Fame. The awards are exclusively sponsored by Polestar.

Tim Janssen, the retired president of IFS (Innovative Funding Services LLC), passed away on Aug. 14 in Largo Vista, Texas. He was 55. Janssen founded IFS in 2007 and served as president of IFS for more than 12 years until his retirement in Jan. 1.

Greg Janik, president of the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) from 1986-1987, passed away on Sept. 8. He was 74. Janik was a long-time member of AFLA and a strong supporter of the fleet industry.
