When Apr 03, 2014 - Apr 03, 2014

On April 3, the Oklahoma Public Fleet Management Association (OPFMA) is hosting a statewide meeting of public fleet professionals in Oklahoma City.  The purpose is to share best practices and collaborate on ideas.

The event will take place:

Thursday, April 3, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
OU Health Science Center, Nicholson Towers Auditorium
940 N.E. 13th Street
Oklahoma City, OK 73104-5008

Oklahoma fleet leaders will be sharing best fleet practices, as well as success stories and current challenges.  These leaders include vendor representatives and fleet professionals from Oklahoma school districts, municipal fleets, and state and federal fleets.

Hayes Smith, from CST Fleet Consulting, will present a case study from CST’s audit of the City of Tulsa's fleet department.  His discussion will include the top five things typically seen in successful fleets and five areas where fleets can improve their operations.

Peggy Beaty, alternative fuels program administrator for the State of Oklahoma, will share best practices when considering an alternative fuel conversion; rules and standards overseeing the conversion industry; and pros and cons of the different types of alternative fuels.

In addition, exhibitors will be available to showcase products and services that benefit many of Oklahoma’s fleet organizations.
