Gary Rappeport served as Donlen's chief executive from 1997 to 2012, and began his career in the fleet industry in 1986. Under his leadership, Donlen experienced industry-leading growth by providing corporations with solutions to finance and manage their fleets of cars, trucks, and equipment. He built a corporate culture around employee engagement and satisfaction, and Donlen won numerous awards for its workplace environment and innovative technology. Gary spearheaded several initiatives and partnerships to reduce emissions from commercial fleets, and Donlen was widely recognized for its leadership and commitment to sustainability. He was inducted to the Automotive Fleet Hall of Fame in 2011.
