Michael Braude, the founder and first president of EMKAY, Inc. began operations inside Midway Chevrolet in 1946. The car leasing company started as a business venture from Midway Chevrolet, and the owners named Braude as its president. He was inducted into the Automotive Fleet Hall of Fame in 2016.
