Chrysler's Dodge Grand Caravan minivan logged the fastest order-to-delivery time among vans in the 2014 model-year, averaging 55 days from when an order was placed to when the vehicle arrived at a dealer's lot.

The Grand Caravan improved one day over its 2013-MY average of 54 days. Dodge also earned to "most improved" distinction with its Ram CV, a working version of the Grand Caravan, by cutting 32 days from the 2013-MY OTD. The Ram CV averaged 89 days.

The survey ranked nine vans, including the Toyota Sienna, GMC Savana, Ram ProMaster, Chevrolet Express, Ford E-Series, Nissan NV, and Ford Transit Connect. The Transit Connect recorded the longest OTD of 156 days in part because the vehicle is manufactured in Europe.

The participating fleet management companies were ARI, Donlen, Element Fleet Management, Emkay, GE Capital Fleet Services, LeasePlan USA, and Wheels Inc. The OTD survey traced deliveries of 145,836 new vehicles in the 2014 model-year, representing 104 different models.
