LOS ANGELES - Approximately 30 vehicles will make their World and North American debuts at the annual Los Angeles Auto Show in December, according to show organizers. World debuts will be unveiled from manufacturers including Audi, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Mazda, Porsche, Toyota, and others.

The show will open to the public Dec. 4-13.

The 2009 LA Auto Show will feature advances in green technology, with several manufacturers featuring all-electric or plug-in concepts. Nearly every manufacturer is expected to showcase their upcoming, fuel-efficient vehicle lineup including the latest advances in clean diesel, hybrid, and other alternative-fueled vehicles. In addition, new small-car offerings with more fuel-efficient yet powerful traditional gas engines will also be presented.

Both Ford and General Motors will be unveiling world debuts and GM President and CEO Fritz Henderson will deliver a special keynote presentation on opening press day Dec. 2, according to event organizers.
