Accident Management

Accident management refers to a program wherein the leasing company or fleet management supplier handles some or all aspects of an accident in which a covered vehicle is involved. Services typically include a streamlined system for reporting the accident, arrangements for towing disabled vehicles to repair facilities, damage and repair cost  estimation, fast repairs at competitive costs, along with a systematic follow-up system and  quality assurance guarantees, plus subsequent reporting based on accident category, frequency, and related safety statistics. These services are sometimes provided to fleets which self assume the risk of physical damage and loss and, other times, to fleets which have insurance coverage for the risk, in this latter case in coordination with the insurer.
