NEWARK, DE – The Driving Dynamics board of directors has elected Art Liggio president of the company, effective March 21. Liggio succeeds Paull Hubbard, who had held the post since 1991. Hubbard will continue on as a director and assume the role of CFO.

In announcing the changes, Hubbard and Bill Buff, company CEO and founder, released the following statement: "Art has done a superior job of guiding the business development and strategic positioning of Driving Dynamics since joining the company. In spite of recent challenges to our economy, Art’s work in these areas has put us on a remarkable path of growth, and we have every expectation this will continue under his proven leadership."

Liggio joined Driving Dynamics in 2008 after spending more than 25 years in risk management, much of it in the corporate fleet industry. In addition, he has provided sales, marketing and strategic planning leadership throughout his executive career, helping companies introduce customer-valued services and achieve their growth objectives.

During the past decade, Liggio has been the chief architect of numerous safety, risk management and risk mitigation technologies now in use by thousands of fleet-based operations and insurance carriers. Before joining Driving Dynamics, he was a senior vice president with First Advantage, a technology-oriented, risk mitigation company headquartered in Poway, Calif.

Prior to First Advantage, Liggio was the national director of risk and insurance services for The CEI Group based in Trevose, Pa., an independent provider of vehicle accident and risk management services for self-insured fleets and insurance carriers.

At Driving Dynamics, Liggio has been responsible for a substantial increase in the company’s growth rate and in the depth of its customer base, the company said. In addition, he has broadened the company’s product line well beyond its historic strength in behind-the-wheel driver safety training.

Driving Dynamics, founded in 1987 and headquartered in Newark, Del., specializes in driver safety training and fleet risk management. For more information, visit www.drivingdynamics.com.
