JM&A’s product highlights include the following: rental car, towing, and travel coverage; extended mileage protection; and fully transferable benefits in the event the vehicle is sold. The products are backed by more than 5,500 service centers nationwide. JM&A’s warranty and service contract products are serviced by professionals located in the company’s customer service centers in Deerfield Beach, FL, and St. Louis. “Research with fleet lessors and fleet users indicates that vehicles are at or near the end of factory warranty by the 14th month of operation,” said Ken Wambold, JM&A’s manager, new business development. Having a transferable extended service agreement allows the fleet user to address the increased frequency of repairs after the manufacturer’s warranty has expired, he said, adding that the transferable service agreement encourages the driver or a family member to purchase the vehicle and eliminates the additional cost associated with the remarketing process.
