MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO – PHH Arval announced several key personnel appointments throughout the Western, Central, and Eastern Canadian markets. These individuals were recently hired to accommodate steady growth in PHH’s client base and to strengthen expertise in key markets to best serve the distinctive needs of client’s fleets.
Jay Edwards has been appointed vice president, business development and will be based in Calgary. Edwards was most recently director of sales at Purolator, focused on strategic corporate planning and business development. He has more than 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, according to PHH Arval. Edwards, who will report to PHH Canada President Jim Halliday, will be responsible for leading the Western Canada sales and account teams.
Also based in PHH’s Calgary office is Cory Chan, account executive, and Chris Gannon, manager, new business Development. Chan has extensive sales and business development experience with various pharmaceutical companies, managing corporate accounts throughout Western Canada. Gannon has more than 20 years of business to business sales experience, and his clients have included some of North America's largest corporations, institutions and municipalities, according to PHH Arval.
Earlier this year, Ryan Happychuck, account executive, joined PHH and will be based in Edmonton. Happychuck has an extensive sales and marketing background in the financial industry, and he will manage a portfolio of clients, according to the company.
Sharon Tait has been appointed vice president, business development and will be based in Mississauga, Ontario. Tait was most recently director, enterprise accounts for GE Canada. Earlier in her career she spent 10 years with GE Fleet Services where she served as vice president, national accounts and business development as well as vice president of Operations, according to PHH Arval. Tait, who will report to Halliday, is responsible for leading the Eastern Canada sales and account teams.
Also based in PHH’s Mississauga office is Mike Milne, manager, new business development. Milne is responsible for a portfolio of clients in Central Canada. Previously with Ryder Canada, he brings 11 years of consultative, solutions-based contractual sales experience to his new role with PHH, according to the company.
In addition to these recent hires, Greg Grant was recently promoted to the role of regional vice president, client relations. Grant, who previously served as vice president, business development and was based in Calgary, will now have responsibility for all account teams and client consultants in the Eastern region and will report to Tait, according to the company.
