ITASCA, IL – Emkay named Andrew Griffith as its new vice president of operations. The company said Griffith joined Emkay in 2006 as its vice president of information technology. Emkay stated Griffith led a number of technical initiatives during this period, including rebuilding Emkay’s client website and developing mobile applications, adding that his contributions have helped the company be listed as one of the Information Week 500 list's top innovators.
“Innovation has been a key to Emkay's success, and will continue to be a large part of our North American strategy,” stated Greg Tepas, president and CEO of Emkay. “Andrew’s leadership has helped EMKAY become leading edge, not only from an outward facing technology standpoint, but also inside our operations. His customer-focused approach, technology mindset, and logical thinking will help propel our operational areas to new heights, while continuing to enhance the fleet solutions available to our clients.”
“In the six years I’ve been at Emkay, I’ve gained a tremendous amount of experience with the operating departments aligning our IT initiatives with our strategic business goals of improving our customer’s experience and internal efficiencies. I’m excited to take on this additional responsibility. It is a natural fit, as Emkay will continue to leverage technology to create innovative ways to serve our customers,” stated Griffith.
Griffith has moved to the role previously occupied by David Nagy, who is now Emkay's senior vice president North American sales and service.
