MOUNT LAUREL, NJ - ARI, a leading global fleet services provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, announced that it made this year’s InformationWeek 500, an annual listing of the nation’s most innovative users of business technology.

ARI’s significant, on-going investment in its ARI analytics platform, its industry leading business intelligence tools, and the enhancement of several internal and client-facing systems led ARI to be ranked #123 on this year’s list. This is the fourth time in the past seven years ARI has been recognized by this prestigious listing.

“Companies listed on the InformationWeek 500 are renowned globally for their commitment to enhancing technology,” says Steve Haindl, ARI’s senior vice president and chief information officer. “We are thrilled to be included on this list again, and to be recognized as an innovator in fleet technology.”

As a leader in fleet management, ARI uses the latest technology to find efficiencies and develop solutions that help clients run “best in class” fleets. The company’s suite of innovative tools proactively assists clients in maintaining their fleets and identifying cost-saving opportunities. ARI also helps fleet managers manage the ever-growing challenge of “Big Data” with ARI insights®, a web-based system that integrates all of the information a fleet generates – across platforms and devices – into a single, comprehensive, user-friendly view of the entire operation in real time. By having all of the information readily available within one platform, companies and their fleet personnel can make more proactive and educated financial and operational decisions, allowing them to allocate more time and funding towards overall company objectives.

ARI continues to invest in strategic technologies that will allow clients to find efficiencies and get the most value out of their fleet operations. From the implementation of ARI analytics and in-memory technology, which is supported by SAP HANA, to the continuous enhancement of the ARI insights system, as well as on-going improvements to ARI’s mobile platforms and upgrades to Intellifleet, an internal maintenance management program, ARI continues to be at the forefront in the development of ways to increase integration capabilities, reporting speeds, and proactive cost improvement suggestions.

“The InformationWeek 500 has recognized the most innovative users of business technology for 24 years, and this year’s innovations were particularly impressive,” said InformationWeek Editor-In-Chief Rob Preston. “What the editors looked for are unconventional approaches—new technologies, new models, new ways of grabbing business opportunities and solving complex business problems with IT.”

InformationWeek identifies and honors the nation's most innovative users of information technology with its annual 500 listing, and also tracks the technology, strategies, investments, and administrative practices of America’s best-known companies. Past overall winners include PACCAR Inc., The Vanguard Group, CME Group, National Semiconductor, Con-Way, and Principal Financial Group. The InformationWeek 500 rankings are unique among corporate rankings as it spotlights the power of innovation in information technology, rather than simply identifying the biggest IT spenders.
