WASHINGTON – General Motors has recalled 2,070 2012-MY Captiva Sport vehicles due to the parking brake cable potentially not being fully seated in its connector, which could result in the cable disconnecting, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). If this occurs, the parking brake will stop working and not hold the vehicle in place (for example, the vehicle could move on a hill). GM dealers will inspect the parking brake connection to ensure it is secure.
