Chrysler Withdraws U.S. Dept. of Energy Loan Application

AUBURN HILLS, MI – Chrysler has withdrawn its application for an Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing loan from the U.S. Department of Energy. The automaker said in a statement that it “remains confident in its strategy to bring competitive, fuel-efficient vehicles and technologies to market on schedule.”

Chrysler added that this decision won’t impact the business plan targets it announced previously.
