“This is a tremendous accomplishment and we are very honored to be named by such a renowned organization as the Chicago Tribune,” stated Greg Tepas, President and CEO for EMKAY. This award is especially important to our organization not only because of what it represents, but due to the fact that it is based upon the opinions of our employees themselves. We work diligently to create a workplace experience that enables us to deliver exceptional value to our employees and clients. I am particularly pleased to be a part of an organization that our own employees are truly proud of, and feel quite fortunate to be surrounded by such great people."

The evaluation for the Chicago Tribune Top Workplaces program is based upon direct feedback from employees in an independent survey coordinated through Workplace Dynamics. This survey along with the question and answer sections reviewed all aspects of the organization. As a whole, companies were graded based off of various criteria including but not limited to communication, direction, execution, conditions, pay and benefits, etc. EMKAY was ranked 7th overall in their category.
