FRANKLIN, TN – Nissan has launched a new certified collision repair program, which it said is open to its dealers and independent shops. The automaker made the announcement at the International Autobody Congress and Exposition, in Orlando.

Nissan said it’s working with DuPont Performance Coatings (DPC) to help implement the program’s certification process and I-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, to conduct technician training.

Once a facility has successfully completed the application process, the shop manager will be contacted to set up a meeting to review the enrollment and inspect the facility. A DPC representative will conduct a comprehensive inspection of the facility to ensure that all standards will be met.
