TOKYO - The Detroit News reported that Toyota will no longer import Toyota Camry sedans to the U.S. from Japan as the vehicle is manufactured in the U.S. Automotive Fleet contacted Toyota about this chgange, and a spokesperson from the automaker confirmed this will be the case.

The Detroit News article said Toyota only imported 1,700 cars from Japan last year, when demand was high.
