WASHINGTON – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that General Motors is recalling 4,077 2012-MY Buick LaCrosse models and 10,344 2012-MY Chevrolet Impala models.

The LaCrosse models are being recalled to fix an incorrect calibration in the Stabilitrak system that could cause the system to activate unexpectedly. GM is recalling the Impala models due to potentially misrouted power steering hoses, which are reportedly too close to the catalytic converter.

Both recalls are expected to officially begin in August.
