FRANKLIN, TN – Nissan released retail pricing for its 2012-MY Versa Sedan. MSRP for the entry-level vehicle is $10,990 for the 1.6 S 5MT, ranging up to $15,560 for the Versa 1.6 SL CVT. Nissan said its base model Versa Sedan 1.6 S 5MT includes standard air conditioning, a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, and AM/FM/CD/Aux-in audio system. For the engine, the base model Versa features a 1.6L four-cylinder engine with dual injector system and twin Continuously Variable Timing Control (CVTC). The Versa Sedan’s fuel economy is estimated at 33 mpg Combined with the CVT transmission, according to the automaker. The five-speed manual transmission is only available on the 1.6 S 5MT base model.

For the 2012-MY Versa Sedan, there are three optional equipment packages. These packages include the Convenience Package (1.6 S CVT), Convenience Package (1.6 SV), and Tech Package (1.6 SL). Nissan said its 2012-MY Versa is also available in a five-door Versa hatchback version, but that it received only minor refinements for the new model year. It is scheduled to go on sale July 17, 2011.
