CHICAGO – Medical services company Baxter Healthcare Corp. used an audit of its 900 fleet vehicles used for sales, facilities, and technical services to determine gaps in the company’s insurance coverage, according to an article on BusinessInsurance.com. 

The article states that the company’s Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Manager Peggy Ross said the audit covered road conditions in which company vehicles travel, as well as a range of potential hazards the company’s vehicles encounter, such as mechanical hazards, physical hazards, and ergonomic issues that impact drivers.
