LAS VEGAS – Toyota’s annual national dealer meeting took place in Las Vegas, according to a news release from the automaker. The company announced a number of highlights from the event related to upcoming vehicles.

The all-new 2012 Camry and Camry hybrid will provide “technologically advanced features, a contemporary design inside and out, improved performance and refined ride and handling.” The launch of the company’s Prius family of vehicles is on track. The Prius v will arrive in the fall, and the compact Prius c is slated to arrive in the spring of 2012. The company said the Prius plug0in hybrid, RAV4 EV, and Scion iQ will arrive in 2012.

In news related to the company’s recovery from the earthquake in Japan, the automaker said in North America, eight models, including the Avalon, Camry, Corolla, Highlander, Matrix, Sequoia, Sienna, and Venza returned to 100 percent production in early June. Four other North-American built models, including the Tundra, Tacoma, RAV4, and Lexus RX, will return to 100 percent beginning in September.

Lastly, the company said its new Entune system will debut this fall in the new Prius v and Camry.
