LONG BEACH, CA - The 2011 Propane Engine Fuel Summit is set for May 3-4 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, Calif. 

Organizers of the Alternative Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo are partnering with the Propane Education & Research Council to produce the event.

The summit, to be webcast, will feature leading manufacturers of propane vehicles, dispensing equipment and fuel tanks. The event will showcase economic and environmental benefits of propane as an alternative-fuel option for fleets. 

Representatives will also discuss government assistance programs available to help fleets switch to propane as a clean, alternative fuel. 

The Propane Engine Fuel Summit will begin with a tour of one of southern California's largest propane fueling stations, used by the Los Angeles Unified School District. Lunch will be provided.
