BRENTWOOD, TN — Comdata Corporation, a leader in electronic payment innovation, announced its Smart Solutions point-of-sale systems will serve as an approved option for CHS’s 1,400 convenience stores nationwide, which operate under the Cenex energy brand.

Comdata Smart Solutions deliver flexible point-of-sale systems that enable store operators to consolidate convenience store, fuel and other profit centers into a single platform. PCI PA-DSS compliant, Smart Solutions is also integrated with multiple payment types, including the leading fleet cards.

“At CHS, we strive to develop relationships that deliver value to our locations,” said Rick Cummings, vice president of refined fuels marketing for CHS. “Comdata’s rich experience in the industry helps it understand the challenges facing petroleum marketers, and Smart Solutions will allow marketers to consolidate equipment, reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.”

“We are pleased to work with CHS on this venture,” said Randy Morgan, executive vice president of sales at Comdata. “CHS is dedicated to providing high-quality service at each of its locations, and Smart Solutions’ unique ability to effectively manage both diesel transactions and other, more traditional convenience store purchases should provide a key benefit in its ability to create additional value for their customers.”
