WASHINGTON - Ford Motor Co. is recalling 3,469 MY 2008-2009 F-650 and F-750 trucks equipped with the Caterpillar C7 engine. 

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the #5 and #6 fuel lines in the trucks may crack at the fastening point to the common fuel rail and cause a fuel leak. This poses a fire risk. 

Ford is working with Caterpillar to notify truck owners of the recall. Caterpillar dealers will make any necessary repairs free of charge.
