DURANGO, CO - A local Colorado BP office has stricken the company logo from its vehicle fleet after harassment complaints from employees, according to the Durango Herald.

Curtis Thomas, local spokesman for BP, La Plata County's largest gas producer, told the Herald employees have noticed a significant increase in discrimination since a BP oil rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico in April.

Thomas said management made the call to remove BP's green and yellow "helios" logo from about 200 vehicles after employees reported routine abuse from the public, at traffic lights, gas stations and the grocery store, reported the Herald.
