NASHVILLE, TN - Nissan will recall 134,215 Infiniti G35s to fix a problem with the wiring harness that could prevent the air bag deploying in the event of a crash, according to USA Today.

The recall covers 2005 to 2007 model-year G35 coupes and 2005 and 2006 G35 sedans, according Nissan's filing with the government.

Nissan told the government that the wiring harness is connected to a belt-tension sensor and an "occupant detection sensor." As the harness gets jostled under the front seats over time, it can wear and allow corrosion to form on the terminals. Then it can't transmit a signal.

As of press time, Nissan has yet to announce when it will be calling in owners to make the repair.
