ALPHARETTA, GA - AmeriFleet Transportation, the Atlanta-based logistics solutions and transportation services provider for the fleet management and corporate fleet industry has awarded Kylie Chappell, director DOT/Safety Compliance, with the company's coveted President's Award. Amerifleet's President's Award recognizes annually, those individuals who display outstanding leadership, innovation in the workplace and a strong commitment to furthering AmeriFleet's mission to provide transportation solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Chappell joined AmeriFleet in 2008. Her responsibilities include ongoing audits of driver qualification files, performing random drug and alcohol testing for all service delivery professional's commercial driver's licenses, and auditing safety records.

As a result of Chappell's efforts, AmeriFleet was awarded a "satisfactory rating" from the Department of Transportation Compliance Review. The Satisfactory-the highest possible-means that a motor carrier has in place and functioning adequate safety management controls to meet the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's (FMCSA) safety fitness standard.

Chappell has more than eight years of experience in the transportation industry during which time she was involved in the establishment of a newly developed transportation companies safety and compliance department.
