IRVINE, CA – Volvo’s all-new C-30 has a starting sticker of $22,700. It also features a unique, poddish, curvy design with two signature enormous rear lights, according to www.nydailynews.com. The front end is reminiscent of Volvo’s C-40, and the car shares that model’s engine — a 218-horsepower, turbocharged five-cylinder that gets about 19 city mpg, 27 on the highway.

Inside, the model has a two-toned seat and cockpit arrangement. The C30 will seat four adults, and features bucket-style back seats.

Volvo said it’s trying to attract a young, single, or newly coupled customer base who live “intense city lifestyles.”
