PUEBLO, Colo. --- Fleet managers learned about the latest developments in biodiesel at a workshop held here Aug. 9. The event was sponsored by Clean Cities of the Pikes Peak Region. Attendees heard presentations from municipal fleet managers, the National Biodiesel Foundation and biodiesel producers. One presentation, made by Nick Kittle of the city of Colorado Springs, described the city's transition to biodiesel in 2004 and 2005, Biodiesel Magazine reported. The city now uses biodiesel in more than 2,100 of its fleet vehicles. Biodiesel producers at the workshop included Alta Fuels, Chief Petroleum and Blue Sun Biodiesel.
