LANSING, Mich. --- Michigan legislators are considering steps to tighten the state's drunk driving laws. A House committee just passed legislation aimed at creating a "high blood alcohol level" offense for repeat offenders, according to a report from WLNS Channel 6 News. If passed, the legislation would require high-risk drivers to participate in a treatment program. A vote before the full House is expected soon.
