CAMBRIDGE, MA – Zipcar, a car-sharing service, is planning to remove XM Satellite Radios from all of its vehicles, reports the Boston Herald. The Cambridge-based company, which allows members to rent cars by the hour, is parting ways with XM over uncertainty in its proposed merger with Sirius.

Zipcar currently operates a fleet of about 2,500 vehicles with about 90,000 in Chicago, Boston, Vancouver, and London.
