OLYMPIA, Wash. --- Washington State Attorney General Rob McKenna has launched an investigation into the state's gasoline prices and expects to report the study's findings in July.
A series of forums is also planned this fall.
McKenna said he will be working closely with the governor's office and the Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development to study what factors are contributing to today's gasoline prices. McKenna said he will take enforcement action if the study reveals any signs of price-fixing or anti-trust violations.
