SAN DIEGO – IKEA San Diego has chosen TruckSkin, LLC, a provider of specialized fleet vehicle graphic programs, as its vendor partner for IKEA San Diego’s home delivery program. The move marks the first time that an IKEA location has used its own fleet and employees to provide in-home delivery. As part of the program, TruckSkin has wrapped each of the IKEA San Diego delivery trucks with a changeable ‘second skin’ vinyl graphic that IKEA will change to coordinate with the store’s marketing calendar. According to IKEA Marketing Manager Toni Banuelos, the program provides better service for its customers and the vehicle graphics add extra mileage to the store’s advertising plan.
