PHILADELPHIA --- The Philadelphia Zoo has opted to start fueling its fleet of trucks with biodiesel.
A local Shell gas station in Center City, located at 12th and Vine streets, offers for sale biodiesel fuels as well as E85 (85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline).
"It just makes sense, especially with conservation being one of the major messages we are trying to send from the zoo," zoo representative Matthew Suydam told Channel 6 Action News.
The Shell station is the only one in the Delaware valley that sells E85 and biodiesel.
