WASHINGTON, D.C. – The EPA has issued a notice of proposed rulemaking to require Onboard Diagnostic (OBD) systems on heavy-duty engines used in highway vehicles weighing over 14,000 pounds, according to the NAFA Fleet Focus. In addition, EPA is proposing changes to existing requirements for diesel engines used in highway heavy-duty vehicles under 14,000 pounds.
